About The Programee
Outsourcing has been a major initiative in recent years for addressing issues relating to growth. Many
critical areas of business are being outsourced, therefore it is extremely important that the process is
designed and managed to take care of the pitfalls while ensuring expected business results. Companies
entering into outsource arrangements often have limited experience of the process; however for
the outsource service providers, it is their core business, and this is reflected in the contract and the
arrangements to which they commit.

PROGRAMME DIRECTOR
S Raghunath
Corporate Strategy and Policy Dr. S Raghunath is a Professor of Corporate Strategy and
Policy at Indian Institute of Management Bangalore. He is currently involved in teaching, consulting and research
related to the growth strategies of information technology
companies in India, strategic development of MNC subsidiaries
in India and strategic outsourcing.
Dr. Raghunath has coached many top managers of Indian as
well as multinational companies. For 24 years he has been
offering professional services to a number of companies such
as Bharti Airtel, Hutch, General Electric, General Motors, IBM,
Essar, HP, Metro Cash & Carry, Satyam, Wipro, SAIL, Tata
Steel, Volvo and Ashok Leyland. He is a registered consultant
with the Office of Projects Services, UNDP, New York.
Dr. Raghunath has published several papers, case studies
and book chapters. He has been quoted in publications such
as Economic Times, Business World, Business Line and
Computer Today. He was also writing a column for Business
Outlook.
Dr. Raghunath serves as an independent director on the
board of KTwo Technologies, Alkor Technologies, India
Satcom, National Venture Capital Fund, India Board of
Academy of International Business.
